Nathan Piper and Cameos Special Gun’s owner Paul Lentsche, decided at the last moment for Piper to qualify the horse for the North American Affiliate Championships and the decision paid off when the horse and rider team scored a 221.5 and tied for the win in the NAAC & NRHA Novice Horse Open Level 2, and in the NRHA Novice Horse Open Level 3 classes at the NRHA Futurity.
