Texas Tech’s Horse Midnight Matador Passes Away

Midnight Matador, Texas Tech University’s longest-serving horse, passed away Tuesday, February 3rd, due to complications from colic surgery. Midnight Matador worked 10 seasons with 11 masked riders in the saddle. Our condolences go out to the entire Texas Tech University Spirit Program.
