Karly Kopp was enjoying an NRHyA dance when she found out that she would be running off for the NAAC Rookie of the Year title the following day, but at that point, she was so pleased with her mare, Sugaway Spooks, that the outcome of the runoff wasn’t even a concern. The gritty little mare gave her heart once again to score a 214 in the runoff and claim the title for her owner.
